Angel Appeal event features food, fun, and much more

The Aberdeen Village Angel Appeal event featured a screening of the timeless Christmas classic film It’s a Wonderful Life, with an introduction by Kansas City Star film critic Robert Butler, hot cocoa, cookies, and raffle.The December 7 event was part of an annual effort to raise money for our Good Samaritan program, which helps residents who have outlived their financial resources.

New program uses therapy to ‘rebuild’ residents

Residents looking for techniques to improve and sustain strength, balance and mobility now have a new tool, thanks to Rebuild Me. The program, which is relatively new to Aberdeen Village, consists of progressive exercises to restore muscle strength.
