Janelle joined Aberdeen Village in 2011 with a passion to serve. After graduating from the University of Kansas, with a Bachelor’s of Social Work, she went on to earn a master’s degree in Social Gerontology from the University of Central Missouri. With sound education under her belt, Janelle applied her knowledge and dedication in her role in protective services, with the Department of Children and Family Services. From there, Janelle went on to become the Volunteer Coordinator for Shepherd’s Center, which empowers mid-life and older adults to live healthy, engaged and independent lives.
